BAYEYEQ service
Contact Lens Services
Contact lenses can offer freedom and convenience, but they are not simply a product you buy — they are a medical device that needs to fit your eyes properly and be cared for well. At BAYEYEQ, contact lens care begins with a thorough suitability assessment and continues through fitting, hands-on guidance and follow-up. Our team has a particular interest in both soft and specialty contact lenses.
Who may benefit
These are some of the common reasons people enquire about contact lens services:
- People who want an alternative to spectacles for sport, work or social occasions
- Anyone curious whether contact lenses could work for their prescription
- Existing contact lens wearers whose lenses are uncomfortable or not performing well
- People interested in specialty options such as orthokeratology or scleral lenses
- Children and young people whose lens wear may be part of myopia management
What an appointment may involve
Every appointment is shaped around you, but here is what you can generally expect:
- A suitability assessment considering your prescription, eye shape, tear film and lifestyle
- A fitting with trial lenses to check how they sit, how they feel, and how well you see
- Hands-on teaching for inserting, removing and caring for your lenses safely
- Guidance on wearing schedules, hygiene and what to do if a problem arises
- Follow-up appointments to confirm the fit is working well over time
Considerations & realistic expectations
Not every lens type is suitable for everyone. Suitability depends on your individual eyes and circumstances, and we will be honest about what is realistic for you before any fitting.
Good hygiene is essential to protect your eyes. We explain the care routine for your specific lenses and the importance of not wearing them longer than advised.
Our team has a particular interest in specialty contact lenses, including orthokeratology and scleral lenses. Please contact us to confirm current availability and whether these options may be suitable for you before arranging a fitting.
